STEM stands for Science Technology Engineering and Math.
STEM education consists of a curriculum designed to teach a student through hands-on experiences.
It integrates the concepts of these four subjects with practical applications. Without affecting the regular school curriculum and exams, a student gets to apply her/his textbook concepts by participating in real life activities like project making, problem solving, etc.
The student also gets the opportunity to lead a team in a competition which builds leadership qualities. So in all, STEM education can help a student learn better, apply smarter and lead by example.
Apart from what STEM is all about, it has so far been extremely effective in turning students into smart individuals having good subject knowledge and who are great communicators and team players. Such individuals are always wanted and needed by the world and are strong enough to drive their careers due to being technically sound and socially active.
